Music & Spirit Service
Sunday Schedule is below
Join us online or tune in on Facebook Live!
We believe that music is a portal through which we may experience ultimate reality. Just as there are many spiritual paths that lead to meaning, there are many musical routes to spiritual experience.
Our music includes acoustic folk, Hindu kirtan, piano and organ, choral anthems, classical harp and chamber music, and indigenous music. Along with music, the services combine spiritual readings and reflections on world issues and personal values, as well as Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist and Native American beliefs and sacred texts. Spiritual healing is quietly woven throughout the service. Gathering members are welcome to light a candle to commemorate a prayer or event.

Tending Gratitude
Sunday, November 2, 11 am
Sometimes we find ourselves in a wintry spiritual season, when a frost settles on our hearts and our sense of gratitude freezes over. During these times, gratefulness is a habit to be tended and nurtured. Pastor Don will explore spiritual practices to defrost our hearts and allow gratitude to spring forth. Inspiring music provided by Charlie Schramm. Join us in the Meach Cove Sanctuary or click below to watch live on Facebook.

Suffering and Gratitude
Sunday, November 9, 11 am
Gratitude can bring paradoxical grace to our lives, transforming pain, tears, and suffering. Some teachers say that the spirituality of gratitude is the highest peak of mature spirituality, allowing us to be thankful regardless of our conditions. Reverend Chatfield will consider ways we can tend to gratitude in our lives, bringing beauty out of suffering. Join us in the Mech Cove Sanctuary or click below to watch live on Facebook.

Inward Gratitude
Sunday, November 16, 11 am
We forget that we have the skill to generate our own feelings. And what is gratitude, but a strong emotion? Instead of looking for things you are grateful for, why not bring gratitude to your very sense of self? Pastor Don will share tools to turn gratitude inward, shifting from external things you’re grateful for, to gratitude for who you are right now. Music provided by Karen McFeeters. Benefit Finding
Sunday, November 23, 11 am
Today we explore a twist on gratitude – a different way to shift your mindset toward positivity and thankfulness, called benefit finding. Our brains answer the questions we ask them, and many of us look for the negative, the storm clouds, so that’s what we see. Pastor Don explains how to turn that perspective around to see the many benefits of our circumstances. Join us in the Meach Cove Sanctuary or click below to watch live on Facebook.

Holy Heart
Sunday, November 30, 11am
Ram Dass wisely said "your deeper heart, your intuitive heart, it is the place where the higher mind, pure awareness, the subtler emotions, and your soul identity all come together and you connect to the universe, where presence and love are" Rev. Kim Marie will be honoring the heart of the divine in all traditions and how the heart plays a role in the way we all come together. What if we were guided more from our holy heart? Soulful music provided by Stephen Coronella. Join us in the Meach Cove Sanctuary or click below to watch live on Facebook.
