We believe that music is a portal through which we may experience ultimate reality. Just as there are many spiritual paths that lead to meaning, there are many musical routes to spiritual experience.

Our music includes acoustic folk, Hindu kirtan, piano and organ, choral anthems, classical harp and chamber music, and indigenous music. Along with music, the services combine spiritual readings and reflections on world issues and personal values, as well as Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist and Native American beliefs and sacred texts. Spiritual healing is quietly woven throughout the service. Gathering members are welcome to light a candle to commemorate a prayer or event.

    The Divine Dark Nights

    Sunday, December 7, 11 am

Joseph Campbell said, "The dark night of the soul comes just before revelation. When everything is lost, and all seems darkness, then comes the new life and all that is needed." Many wish it away, but what if we honored the power of this time knowing something will be born? Ancient traditions always honored the connection of death and rebirth, light and darkness and their relationship with the divine. Rev. Kim Marie will honor the earth and its season of darkness with ways to find divinity in the dark. Music and spirit from local musician Pat Lambdin. Embracing Stillness

    Sunday, December 21, 11 am

The deep quiet of darkness can gently, and sometimes insistently, slow us down—inviting us into a stillness we might otherwise resist. Rather than something to escape, darkness becomes a companion that helps us listen more deeply, and discover the steady light within that guides us forward. Reverend Chatfield will draw on interfaith wisdom to offer practice tips for embracing stillness in our lives. Music provided by Augusto Salazar and Brenda Haley. Trusting Inner Light

    Wednesday, December 24, 5:30 pm

On this sacred evening when we honor the lights of Bodhi Day, the Solstice, Hanukkah, and Christmas, we are invited to remember that the light we seek is not external, but a radiance already alive within us. We will reflect on how each tradition points toward an inner strength and a deep connection to something greater. In a season filled with symbolic lights, our truest illumination comes from within, guiding us with warmth, clarity, and courage. Music by Karen McFeeters.
