We Are So Close To Our Annual Fund Goal -
We Need Your Help to Get There!

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has participated in our Annual Fund. As of May 14th, we have raised $23,070! We still need to raise another $6,930 before the end of June 2009, to reach our yearly goal of $30,000. We hope you can help make this goal a reality for us. Your continued support will help us become a interfaith center.

All Souls Interfaith Gathering

A Letter From Our Board Chairperson, Rosalyn Graham

Annual Meeting
All Souls Interfaith Gathering
Sunday, June 14, 2009

This has been an exciting year of growth and evolution for All Souls Interfaith Gathering. The impact and opportunities that grow out of the spectacular and inspirational new Sanctuary continue to make themselves known – we are attracting new attendees, coming to learn for themselves about the Gathering, the location, the mission and the way that All Souls and what it has to offer may answer the needs and  questions in their spiritual lives.

We are also becoming known among the public for the fine quality of the series of concerts we have hosted during the past year – and among those professional musicians we are gaining recognition for the extraordinary acoustics of the Sanctuary.

Our program for children is also winning new participants among those who are seeking a way to give their children a spiritual experience that reaches beyond the traditional religions and explores new thoughts, new moral values and a new world  view.

And the beauty of this site, the peace of its surroundings, the inspirational impact of its views of the lake and mountains – all are winning newcomers whether it is to walk in the labyrinth, sit in quiet mediation at an Evensong Service, or celebrate a life event such as a wedding or memorial service.

But this growth and evolution is not without its challenges and the economic tailspin of the past year has compounded what would already have been a challenge for a young congregation with an expensive facility to maintain and staff, and the quirks of a new physical plant to debug. The impact of this can be seen in the financial report and we will need to be aggressive and creative to meet the financial needs – by growing our gathering numbers, by exploring new ways to develop use of the grounds and buildings in a profitable but appropriate way, and by stimulating the generosity and commitment of everyone who loves and values All Souls Interfaith Gathering.

New! Morning Service
Sundays, 9:00am
, beginning May 3rd

Are you looking for a different way to start your Sunday morning? Then this might be the service for you.
We have decided to try a few alternatives services in the morning at 9:00am in addition to our popular 5:00pm Evensong Service. Starting Sunday, May 3rd we will be offering four different alternative services.  One week will feature a Guided Meditation & Music, another will be an opportunity to experience Chanting, another will be Quaker Style where you come sit quietly and speak as the spirit moves you and the last service will be Poetry Reading where you will have an opportunity to bring your favorite poem or reading to share or simply come and listen.
