Welcoming our new Lead Pastor
Dear All Souls Community Members,
It is with great pleasure and much excitement that we can now inform you that Rev. Don Chatfield, Ph.D. has accepted our offer to become the new Lead Pastor of the All Souls Interfaith Gathering Community. Rev. Don is presently serving as executive director at the Osage Forest of Peace near Tulsa, Oklahoma. More biographical information about Don can be found online on our website and will also be included in our Monthly Newsletter and our upcoming Spring Appeal letter. We hope you will take this opportunity to learn more about his extensive experience and education.
This decision was based on the tireless efforts of our dedicated Search Committee and on thoughtful input from community members. Thank you to the board, our staff, the healers upstairs, attendees at our morning Meditation and evening Music & Spirit services, and all of you who participated in the surveys. Based on this collective input, we are confident that Rev. Don Chatfield embodies the desired leadership skills of an experienced Spiritual Leader, an Entrepreneur, and a Non-Profit Manager. His calm, collaborative and approachable style plus his intuitive listening skills and his team building experience will help to lead All Souls into the future. With these leadership qualities and with the help of all of our engaged members, it is our hope that All Souls Interfaith Gathering will build on the legacy and vision of our founder, Rev. Mary Abele. We hope to fulfill her wish that this unique Interfaith Spiritual Center will continue to thrive, grow and become even more impactful in the years to come.
We expect Rev. Don and his wife, Karen, and dog, Lily, to arrive by the middle of July. At that time we will have a welcoming event which will be announced later. We want all of you to have a chance to get to know Rev. Don personally and what could be better than a summer picnic?
