Introduction to Qigong

9:00am - 12:30pm 

$50 for all three sessions or $20 per session

Each session will cover the basics of centering, opening, and gathering as well as a short sitting meditation.  The sessions will continue with exercises and as time permits with an opportunity to create a short form.

Session I beginning at 9am - Sunrise Sunset exercise
Session II beginning at 10am -  Microcosmic Orbit exercise
Session III beginning at 11am - Longevity exercises


Three sessions at $20 per session or all three sessions for $50.  Net proceeds from the workshop will go to Charlotte-Shelburne-Hinesburg Rotary Club to assist in purchasing turkeys to be donated to the three local food shelves at Thanksgiving.

Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. In 1978, Diana Vachon started learning and practicing meditation. With a sincere passion for self-discovery, self-mastery and the healing arts, she began studying yoga in the 1990’s and became a Healing Touch practitioner.  In 1999, she started practicing martial arts and qigong with Arthur Makaris, L.Ac. in Essex Junction, VT. Fascinated with the connections and transformations the practice of qigong can facilitate, she continued studying and learning Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2008, she became a licensed acupuncturist. And in 2012 she became a licensed Chinese herbalist. Diana is very grateful for all the wonderful teachers and opportunities in her life. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and practice with others to understand more deeply, cultivate compassion, and be the change she wants to see in the world.
