All Souls Response to COVID-19

March 13, 2020

Dear Friends of All Souls,

Over the last few days we’ve been watching the COVID-19 pandemic recommendations and have been staying in touch with local spiritual communities about their responses.

After communicating with our board co-chair Lell Forehand, we have made the following decisions to address the situation:

  • Sunday Morning Meditation and Music & Spirit Services are now going online!

  • In-person meetings, and small group meetings are cancelled effective immediately, until further notice.

  • Our Channing House Healers will make their own decisions about use of their offices.

  • Rental groups will make their own decisions about whether to continue with meetings and retreats. For those who do use the building, we request that surfaces and door handles be cleaned with disinfectant and paper towels. Disinfectants will be available in common areas.

  • Rev. Don, Rev. Kim Marie, and Mariko will continue working normal office hours. You may communicate with them via email or phone.

  • Our Email Newsletter will go out on schedule, keeping you updated.

  • We encourage you to continue your generous donations to All Souls, whether by mail or clicking here.

  • If you are in need of pastoral care, please call Rev. Don at (802) 985-3819. All messages are delivered to his cell phone and he will respond as quickly as possible.

Just as we tune in the news for the latest developments about the pandemic, I invite you to turn within through prayer and meditation to stay firmly anchored in the Divine. While there is great uncertainty in the world, we know that we can remain calm by going within. While fear contracts the body and mind, love expands us and shows us possibilities. We also know that every challenge includes a healing promise.

May we each find safe harbor in spiritual truth, returning to love and letting it lead.
