All Souls Interfaith Gathering and Shelburne Farms host 18th Annual Choral Celebration
September 15th marks the beginning of All Souls Interfaith Gathering’s 18th spiritual season.
Highlighting the partnership between All Souls Interfaith Gathering and Shelburne Farms, the Choral Celebration is hosted in Shelburne Farms’ magnificent, cathedral-like Breeding Barn. All Souls’ lead pastor, Rev. Don Chatfield will be speaking on this year's spiritual theme: ‘Love for All Beings: Compassion in Action’. We will also hear interfaith prayers from leaders representing Hindu, Jewish, Native American, Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Muslim communities and choral offerings by the All Souls Choir and the South County Chorus led by Rufus Patrick. Participants are invited to bring items to create a large community altar expressing compassion for all beings. Items may be retrieved at the end of the celebration.
The Choral Celebration begins at 4pm and is free and open to the public. Shelburne Farms
cheese, Champlain Orchards apples, cider, and donuts will be available. Donations are gratefully
accepted at the door. Shelburne Farm’s Breeding Barn is unheated; please dress for the weather.
