Our Basin of Relations:

The Art & Science of Living with Water ME Sipe, Photographer

On display through Tuesday, November 26

Art is available for viewing most Tuesdays - Fridays (8:30am - 4:30pm) and Sundays (9:00am - 10:00am and from 5:00pm - 6:00pm).  All Souls is a multi-use facility.  You are welcome to stop by but if coming from a distance please call ahead to confirm the building is open and available for public viewing.

Mike Sipe began photographing the pristine waters of the Lake Champlain region about twenty years ago. His initial vision was a coffee-table book, sharing the beauty with the world with one hundred, sharing-quality images. He captured thousands of images, with thirty-five or so included in OUR BASIN OF RELATIONS, The Art and Science of Living with Water, coming with a Contributors Edition by year end from Green Writers Press.

A few years ago, Mike got involved with the Vermont Clean Water Network, and is eager to learn how to help preserve the Lake Champlain’s watershed ecosystem.  Mike joined Trevien Stanger, environmentalist, teacher, writer, poet, to compliment his images in OUR BASIN. Trevien curates fifteen or so short pieces, by people in the know, who entertain, educate, and inspire you to personal action for clean water.

All proceeds from sale of images during this show will be contributed to Clean Water Advocates, Inc., a 501(c) non-profit to help  publish OUR BASIN OF RELATIONS, The Art and Science of Living with Water.
