Evensong Services meet every Sunday (September - June 14th) at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary. They have ended for the summer and will resume September 27th
Music
plays a major role in Evensong because we believe that it provides a
special spiritual connection. Along with music, the services combine
spiritual readings and reflections on world issues and personal values,
as well as Christian, Jewish, Islam, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist and Native
American beliefs and sacred texts. Spiritual healing is quietly woven
throughout the service. Gathering members are welcome to light a candle
to commemorate a prayer or event.
Evensong Services are led by our Pastor, Rev. Mary Abele, and may include guest speakers from the community and within our congregation. View our calendar for this month's Evensong Service schedule.
New! Morning Service at 9:00am (They have ended for the summer and will resume September 27th) Are you looking for a different way to start your Sunday morning? Then this might be the service for you.
We have decided to try a few alternatives services in the morning at 9:00am in addition to our popular 5:00pm Evensong Service. Starting Sunday, May 3rd we will be offering four different alternative services. One week will feature a Guided Meditation & Music, another will be an opportunity to experience Chanting, another will be Quaker Style where you come sit quietly and speak as the spirit moves you and the last service will be Poetry Reading where you will have an opportunity to bring your favorite poem or reading to share or simply come and listen.
